• We’ll put your brochures, cards, menus, flyers in our office for visitors’ reference.

• Send us your special events and business news. We’ll send them to all chamber members  in the biweekly “What’s Happening” e-newsletter  and put the information on the Chamber Facebook page.

• We’re happy to send business your way, and we only refer our members in response to phone, personal and e-mail requests that come to our office.                                               

                         Information Matters

• Our office gets frequent updates from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation and other agencies. We’ll pass them along to you.

• Chamber membership includes access to  the Michigan Small Business Development Center, which offers  services such as  counseling, training and research to assist you. Many of their programs are free.

• When it comes to your business, YOU are the expert. Share your expertise  directly with others at chamber events, or speak at a meeting. You’ll be surprised how much interest you can generate and how willing others are to help support you and your business...when they know about it.
   

                              Networking Matters

• No one is an island, and everyone has a story. Membership in the chamber means you’re invited to board meeting, events, the Annual Awards Dinner, and more. Find out who’s new, what’s new, and take time to chat about shared business opportunities and issues.

                                 Events Matter

• Attend, enjoy, and help out at existing events, or start new ones. Spring brings the annual Railroad Days Festival; summer brings the “Wednesday Night Live” outdoor live concert series;  Autumn Fest, Labor Day weekend brings the annual “End of Summer Cruisin’” car show and Santa arrives on the fire engine every Thanksgiving weekend.

• There is strength in numbers. Your Chamber of Commerce is the only organization in Durand that exists solely to build and expand business through information, communication and growth opportunities. The larger our membership, the greater impact we’ll have on OUR community.
